There is only one change that I know of in this release – there will be a new menu item in the Company menu named Export Company File to QuickBooks Online. This will give the QB 2009 user an easy way to upgrade to QuickBooks Online, using the “convert in three clicks” process that I discussed in this earlier article.

So, it is just a marketing update, really. I’m pointing out this update mainly so that we all can be aware that there is a new revision level for this product.
One additional note – for Enterprise, Intuit is warning us that if you open a file with the 2009 R15 update you won’t be able to open it with an older update – something that is important if you are an accounting professional getting a file from a client.
