Aug 23, 2017 yes confirmed no FTP in firmware 1.02 dcs-936L. Only email and sd card. I hope dlink add this FTP feature in future firmware even if not really part of original product feature.
Section 3 - Conguration
This option allows you to congure and set a schedule for the recording to an inserted microSD card.

Select whether the event is activated by Motion, Schedule, or if the video
